The title and work are inspired by a snippet from Lemony Snicket’s “The Beatrice Letters.” The longing, push and pull of the space, and the universal feelings of loneliness, all encased in his simple words were what I hoped to depict with this piece.  By adding these forms, with the hint of shadows and space pushed back, I wanted those same feelings felt. “But I must admit I miss you quite terribly.
