“Why else
are we here if not
to live with unreasonable
passions for things.”
– butterflies rising

Passion has historically been depicted as something fiery and with a wild, uninhibited approach to your actions. That this type of passion permits us to disregard societal rules to follow that which lights a fire in us. Reading this passage, I found something softer. The passion of a quiet Sunday morning, two warm mugs of coffee. The passion of finding what makes us truly fulfilled in life. Of discovering your true purpose in this world. By building up layers of blues. and cloud-like texture, I found an “unreasonable passion,” as a serene and purposeful passion.
